There are a number of ways that you can help your local GAA Club. Contrary to belief this does not mean giving your life to the GAA but instead it can mean an hour here or there when you have it available. We have listed below some roles that we require help and support in, in order to ensure that Shankill GAA Club continues to grow and exist for many years to come.
So PLEASE do not hesitate to get in contact with us if you feel you would be able to provide support in any way.
 Your Community......Your GAA Club

 Coaching
We currently have a small team of fantastic and wonderful coaches already in place in Shankill GAA Club, providing experience & knowledge on Gaelic Games from all corners of Ireland, from Donegal to Cork; however there is always room for expansion.

We are delighted to have a large number of kids attending our Juvenile Academy every Saturday. More kids means more coaches; so if you feel you are in a position to help coach our future GAA stars, get in touch. No experience is necessary, just bags of enthusiasm and lots of fun. Training will be provided.

Even if you feel you can't sign up to coaching every week at our Juvenile Academy we would appreciate your assistance on any days you can.
Volunteering
If the idea of being a coach scares you, there are other ways to help to ensure our Juvenile Academy runs smoothly.

Train Driving
Train drivers move the children in groups from one coaching station to the next during the Saturday Sessions.

Again no experience is necessary, just an ability to make the most believable "choo-choo" sound around!

Registering Children
It's important that all kids are signed in and out of our Juvenile Academy each week. A fun but very important job.

Assigning Bibs
Another important element to ensure the Academy runs successfully is getting the kids into the correct bibs for their age group. Again no experience required, just bags of energy, fun & of course bags of bibs!

Get involved, make new friends.

Fundraising
As for any community association it is the generosity of the local community which helps to maintain it and indeed it is no different for Shankill GAA Club.

Fundraising is a vital arm of the Club to ensure that the kids of Shankill have the best possible amenities and facilities available to them to take part in Gaelic Games in Dublin.

We would love to hear your fundraising ideas or even if you have some free time to spare to help out on our fundraising committee.

Committee Members
New committee members are always welcome  for the Club. It takes a wide range of people and skill sets to make a GAA Club a success.

If you feel you could dedicate some time to help out then please do not hesitate to get in touch. Even if it's only an hour a week it's all we need, all those hours add up!
